The Snake River Animal Shelter (SRAS) is a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. The SRAS is dedicated to promoting quality care and compassion for domestic animals in the upper Snake River Valley.

With your support and donations we will open a unique facility in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Here, the construction of the shelter will reduce the number of euthanized animals annually, by offering a refuge for animals awaiting adoption.

DOG PARK FYI

Hey Dog Park Lovers!!!

We are absolutely THRILLED that the Dog Park is being utilized so much throughout the week as well as on the weekends. I just wanted to give you all a little FYI...

We have recently gone through about 800 poop bags in about 2 and 1/2 weeks. The city does not pay for these bags... we do. As a favor to the SRAS, if you are someone who frequents the dog park, could you please try to remember to bring your own bags? Also, we will soon have more self-sustaining dispensers installed soon... so start saving your grocery bags!!

We really appreciate those who have generously helped to pick up after their own pets as well as any extra waste they may find in their path. This is a community park, and we need the community to help keep it running smoothly and nicely! A few of the Board Members have graciously volunteered to help clean up dog poop... any chance there are some more nice souls who will volunteer in the endeavor to keep it clean? THANK YOU!!!!!
